Are you a high school student driven to make a difference in your community? Have you been looking for an opportunity to channel your social entrepreneurial spirit? If the answer to these two questions is yes, you are invited to apply to this year’s Teen Accelerate: Student Citizens Make Change pitch competition.
Teen Accelerate is a pitch challenge competition for students who are looking to increase their civic engagement in the greater Cleveland area. The deadline to apply is Thursday, January 19, 2023!
The competition will occur in two phases. In phase one, high school students will submit a written application explaining what their community initiative is that they are looking to implement and how it will benefit the greater Cleveland community.
In phase two, 10 students will be selected as a finalist and invited to present their initiative on February 23rd at the Accelerate Competition held at the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland. In preparation for their live pitch presentation, finalists will be paired with a business coach to help them further develop their idea.
